The Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 is a fully rugged laptop manufactured by Panasonic, originally announced on 16 October 2006[8] as the successor of the CF-29. There are three hardware revisions (marks) of the CF-30.
Panasonic advertises the laptop as being the first MIL-STD-810G certified laptop.[6]
The Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 was succeeded by the Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 in 2010.[9]
Chipset[edit | edit source]
The Mark 1 and Mark 2 laptops use the Intel 945GM chipset, whereas Mark 3 laptops use the Mobile Intel GS45 Express Chipset.[1][3][4]
Maximum amount of RAM supported[edit | edit source]
According to the service manuals[1][3][4], the maximum amount of random-access memory (RAM) supported by the Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 is 4 gigabytes, but users have found out that the laptop is capable of recognizing and utilizing up to 8 gigabytes of RAM.[5]
